This could be looked at in so many different ways. The angle that I took these 5 word was that no matter the talent, a person can work harder. They also can have more confidence which will make you more successful than a person who survives on talent alone.
Recently sports have had 2 guys that have modeled this slogan, they are Tim Tebow and Jeremy Lin. Both of these guys show what confidence and hard work does. They truly show it's what's inside that counts.
They come from vastly different backgrounds, but they have rose to the top of popularity among the particular sports they play. They show that self confidence, humility, and hard work pays off. These great role models exemplify the concept of what is truly important. The game that they play is important, but it is not the only thing that defines who they are. They show it is what's on the inside that counts.
This should be true within your team/organization. If all that defines your team/organization is wealth or status, your missing what is important. Your team/organization needs to be well rounded people. In turn it will help them achieve maximum success in the work place. They need to use the gifts that God has blessed them with to help others to form this idea.
Giving to others outwardly through encouragement and positive words changes the concept of inward development. What this thought does to your team is mold them into what they are capable of. They find a confidence in what they do on the inside which directly affects the outward success.
When you give outward encouragement, it is taken to heart which is inward. Thus contributing to changing the inside proving, "It's What's Inside That Counts.
